Usage of Social Networking Tools in Higher Education with Special Reference to Colleges of Jammu Division, Jammu and Kashmir, India

Abstract


Purpose: The paper explores the use of social networking tools by the faculty of
Government Degree Colleges of Jammu Division, J&K (India).
Methodology: The data was collected from a sample of 300 participants using
questionnaire as a data gathering tool.
Findings: The study concludes that the potential use of social networking sites
(SNS) in higher education has not been optimally explored and utilized.
